What the Suite adds
Microsoft Purview Audit (Premium), which is the piece most organisations come for. It provides up to one year of audit log retention for user and administrator activity, custom audit log retention policies for other Microsoft 365 services, access to crucial events for investigations, and high-bandwidth access to the Office 365 Management Activity API. It includes everything in Audit (Standard).
It also covers Microsoft 365 Copilot interactions, with extended retention and analysis of Copilot audit records, which matters as soon as Copilot is deployed anywhere in the tenant.

A Microsoft 365 Business Premium base licence on the same user. The add-on is capped at 300 seats, matching the ceiling on Business Premium.
Where the ten year figure comes from, and why it is not this
Ten year audit log retention applies only to users with the appropriate separate add-on licence. This suite provides the one year tier. If a retention obligation genuinely runs to ten years, that is a different licence and should be priced as one.
What does this add over Business Premium's own Purview features?

Yes. Audit (Premium) provides extended retention and advanced analysis for Copilot audit records, which becomes relevant the moment Copilot is assigned to anyone in the tenant.
